Will the Jaguars allow Travis Hunter to play on both sides of the ball? If you’re curious about the answer to that question, Hanny has a nice little write-up you can check out. I would imagine the answer to that question is a resounding yes, or the Jaguars should be prepared for Hunter to revolt and maybe even retire.
The Colorado product appears very serious about playing both offense and defense. So much so that if he’s denied the opportunity to play both ways, he will just quit football.
“It’s never playing football again,” Hunter recently told Garrett Podell of CBS Sports. “Because I’ve been doing it my whole life, and I love being on the football field. I feel like I could dominate on each side of the ball, so I really enjoy doing it.”
For the record, it would appear that the Jaguars are dead set on having Hunter play both ways, or they wouldn’t have made the move up to go get him. I’m not sure how to feel about James Gladstone and Liam Coen regime, but they’re sure as hell going to be entertaining!
Turning in the card for Shohei Ohtani is a no-brainer. I’m not sure I would have paid the price Jacksonville did to move up for him, but you can’t fault them for that decision. If you want to peep the 2025 NFL Draft profile we did on the Colorado two-way star, make sure to click here!
