Will Fuller Can’t Wait To Play With Jaylen Waddle
The Miami Dolphins added a ton of speed to the wide receiver room this offseason. Will Fuller was signed as a free agent and Jaylen Waddle was taken with the 6th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Fuller and Waddle figure to be much needed weaponry in the receiver core.
Will Fuller is very excited to suit up with Jaylen Waddle. He spoke about how he can’t wait to play with the former Alabama product:
“You can’t teach speed and we do have that on this team,” Fuller told reporters Friday. “Not just me and Waddle, there are other players with speed, too. It’s going to be fun. We’re going to do what the coaches ask of us and we just going to be playing fast and we going to make some stuff happen.”
Fuller hit the nail on the head here and it was needed. DeVante Parker is a solid receiver but Miami had NOTHING behind him last year. This year the options look much better with a year two Lynn Bowden, a healthy Preston Wiliams, and Robert Foster. Jakeem Grant is also a force in the return game. Miami has some toys now.
Fuller also spoke about why he chose Miami:
“This was my first free agency, so I just took it as I wanted to go to a team that wanted me,” Fuller said. “The Dolphins showed the most interest. That’s why I chose the Dolphins. And, of course, I knew we have a great team here and we could do great things. Ever since I’ve been here, it’s been great. I love the culture here. It’s just been easy to be here. Like I said, I’ve been in the building as much as I can. I enjoy being here. I’m happy the Dolphins took a chance on me.”
Waddle and Fuller should be a dynamic duo in Miami and nobody is happier than Tua Tagovailoa to have a fresh set of toys.
