Season 3 of The Dozen: Trivia Competition, Barstool’s game show hosted by Jeff D. Lowe, wrapped up last week. Team Minihane (Kirk Minihane, Rico Bosco, Quigs) took home the crown with three-time league MVP Minihane also receiving Finals MVP honors after scoring 20 points over two matches. In their second straight championship game appearance, The Experts (Brandon Walker, PFT, Fran) once again failed to win the title. Getting swept in the bonus round proved to be the nail in the coffin for The Dozen’s original team, and an exceptional performance from both Kirk Minihane and Rico Bosco really slammed the door. Team Minihane joins The Honkers (Season 1) and Uptown Balls (Season 2) as champions of The Dozen.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Jersey Jerry reported that Walker, a two-time First Team All-Dozen member, did not shut down the idea of joining up with Team Minihane and forming a superteam. This conversation occurred during a dinner with Eddie and Clem of team Ziti, Big Cat, and Jerry.
Instead he entertained it. Less than 24 hours removed from @TheDozenTrivia Championship game , Brandon is pondering the idea of a Super Team. Sources at dinner can confirm this story. You heard it here first.

The report was then confirmed by Ziti team member Clem.

Walker’s current trivia teammate PFT chimed in on the report:

This could all just be a troll job, but it’s worth noting that no one cares more about The Dozen than Brandon Walker. If he sees an opportunity to finally bring home the trophy with Team Minihane, he is probably going to consider it. Such a move would really shake up the league entering Season 4. Kirk Minihane has a track record of trading away team members, so it wouldn’t come as a total shock if he did so to make room for Walker. There was a brief rumor that Rico Bosco would leave to start his own team, but Bosco quickly put an end to that idea.
I could never look that man in the eye and have another jersey on my chest.

Would Quigs be out the door if Walker made himself available? Tough to say. Maybe Kirk runs it back with the same team that won the title (which he has expressed a desire to do, at least as of right now) and Brandon Walker tries to finally get over the hump with The Experts.
But if you can’t beat ’em, do you join ’em?
