Why was WWE star Jimmy Uso arrested?

Jimmy Uso might be one of the hottest WWE Superstars today, despite having a history of trouble with the law.

Jimmy was last arrested in July 2021, when he was picked up in Pensacola, Florida, and charged with a misdemeanor DUI. According to police reports provided by TMZ Sports, Jimmy Uso was pulled over after speeding through a red light at 50 mph in a 35 mph area. The report alleged that Uso was questioned by police and forced to take a field sobriety test, which he failed.

The star then admitted to having drunk “multiple” beers before getting behind the wheel, which resulted in his arrest. TMZ then reported that he was charged with speeding, running a red light and a DUI. He spent the night in jail and was later released on a $500 bond.

Sadly, this was the third time Uso had been arrested in the span of three years, and the second time he was charged with drunk driving. In February 2019, Jimmy Uso was arrested in Detroit for disorderly conduct and obstruction, after exiting his vehicle during a traffic stop. This resulted in a $450 fine. In July 2019, Uso was arrested yet again for “driving with an unlawful blood-alcohol level.”

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso could only go toe-toe-toe by next year’s WrestleMania

After his shocking attack on Jey Uso during Summerslam, many assumed the two brothers would quickly enter into a heated feud. However, according to reports, Jimmy Uso might not clash head-on with his brother until next year’s WrestleMania 40. A recent report from WrestleVotes alleges that one of those involved in WWE creative wants the brothers to hold off on a future clash.

As the report later alleged, this idea might end up being vetoed by others involved in the booking of WWE. A 35-week wait to conclude or at least take the feud to the next level would be too long and could result in either Jay or Jimmy Uso losing some much-needed momentum. Only time will tell, however, and fans will just have to be patient.
