Why the Cincinnati Bengals will win Super Bowl LVIII

After only falling just minutes short in Super Bowl LVI, the Bengals have proved to rest of the NFL that they’re a true contender for Super Bowl LVIII. With Joe Burrow leading the team, the Bengals have made it to the AFC Championship in almost every year. Now, with momentum on their side, here is why the Bengals will win Super Bowl LVIII.

With the upcoming NFL season fastly approaching, check out all of the Cincinnati Bengals odds!

Offensive Firepower

Cincinnati can the Super Bowl solely based on its offense. Burrow has been on fire all three seasons he has played in the league, and will only continue to progress. Burrow entered the league with a 13-5 touchdown-to-interception rate, and has only gotten better. In his second and third year, Burrow has thrown for 34 and 35 touchdowns while only throwing 14 and 12 interceptions, respectively.

Wide Receiver Trio

Although Burrow is great, he is not the only reason on why the Bengals will win Super Bowl LVIII. Burrow’s receiving core is unmatched in the NFL. That receiving corps is led by his former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase — arguably the best wide receiver in the league — and also boasts Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. The trio is virtually unguardable for any NFL defense.

Defense

Although the Bengals have a high-powered offense, people are overlooking their defense’s impressive performance. Last season, Cincinnati’s defense ranked fifth in points allowed, fifth in rush yards allowed, third in passing touchdowns allowed and seventh in yards allowed. It is certainly a defensive unit that can surprise many people this upcoming season.

Momentum

As said before, the Bengals are a team on the hunt for a Super Bowl victory. Coming into the 2023 season, Cincinnati is looking to build off of last’s season momentum, in which the team won 10 out of its last 11 games to cap off 2022. Burrow and Co. are coming into this season eyeing revenge, and can definitively win the big game this year.

Will the Bengals will the Super Bowl this season? Who do you think will win the Super Bowl this season? Let us know in the comments.
