When Will People Realize Jaylen Warren Is Better Than Najee Harris?

I have to put my hand up on this one. I will admit, I was pounding the table for the Pittsburgh Steelers to draft Najee Harris during the 2021 NFL Draft. I got that one wrong.

He did have a stellar rookie year, but he has been riddled with injuries and just has not been the same player. But now there is a new kid on the block who is way better than him, and that’s Jaylen Warren.

When will people realize that Warren clears Harris on every level?

Najee Harris stinks–let’s just call it like it is. When I watch Harris play, I just don’t see anything that excites me. Harris constantly looks to avoid contact, he doesn’t have great feet and, when you watch him, he misses a lot of holes.

I mentioned the injuries before and you have to worry about them. It’s just a fact. The Harris from his rookie year is gone and I don’t think he is ever coming back. Trey was right that they should have looked to move him.

My point is: It’s time to give the reigns to Jaylen Warren.

Warren is a little bowling ball. He constantly looks to hit someone, and I love that. He’s faster than Harris, has better feet and the aspect of not avoiding contact is what sells me the most. Harris gets too cute trying to juke out a defender, eventually leading to him just being tackled for a short gain. Not with Warren.

Warren sets his eyes on the oncoming defender and decides I am going to run you over. The offense simply moves better with Warren in the backfield.

The what-if is no more. Warren is going to be a very good running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and if the front office was wise they would move on from Harris this off-season and let Warren lead the backfield in 2024. He is far and away better than Harris and the sooner the team, and specifically the fans, realize this, the better off everyone will be.
