The latest entry into Capcom’s popular survival-horror series, Resident Evil Village is getting a brand-new VR edition. On Feb. 15, the PlayStation YouTube channel released a trailer depicting gameplay for the new VR edition of the game, as well as a release date.
The trailer shows off several aspects of gameplay, from inventory usage and management to combat to interactions within the world space. Combined with the still stunning graphics, it already makes for a visual spectacle for players to interact in. The trailer highlights the game’s combat mostly, showing off how the player can take down enemies in proper VR fashion, while also illustrating puzzle solving and exploration.
Already, fans are expressing their excitement at the prospect of a VR edition of the game. Not that there is much time until release, with the VR edition expected to release on Feb. 22. But no doubt fans will be talking about this and building up their hype in the week to come. There might just be a hype train for Resident Evil Village‘s new VR mode, but that train it won’t be leaving the station for very long.
