Vendetta’s 2023 MLB Fantasy Draft Officially Slated For This Friday

It’s been a long time coming! Finally, however, 12 brave individual Vendetta contributors will partake in the daunting draft.

The event takes place this Friday at 6 p.m. PST. It will be streamed on YouTube and other sites so everyone interested can tune in.

As a refresher, the 12 fantasy players are myself, Andrew McGuinness, Jerry Walker, Jiarmani DePena, Matt Hanifan, Trey Daubert, Jack Sabin, James Herrick, Garrett Burroughs, Dominic Gutierrez, Christopher Bagdonas and Julian.

Players will pitch $5 into a pool of money, and first, second and third place winners will receive an accumulated award.

The order of the draft stems from a trivia game played over a month ago, hosted by yours truly. The questions asked the 12 contestants their overall knowledge of baseball. Coming in with the first pick is Andrew McGuinness, while I will round out the 12th place, as I knew the answers to the questions.

2023 MLB Fantasy Tips and Tricks

The majority of the draft will have our contestants active, however, there are a few exceptions that will set a queue and auto-draft. With the draft style being a snake, the order will go continuously from 1-12 and then 12-1. That means the first and last picks go back-to-back every round.

Per week, teams will go head-to-head with the winner being the individual with the greater amount of points. Most categories are including major offensive and pitching areas.

Following the Friday draft will be roundups every week. Content creators will crank out material in regard to Fantasy at the end of each week. Standings will be made public and I will be making continuous TikToks.

So be prepared! Opening Day is right around the corner. Fantasy week starts on March 30 so everyone must be ready.
