Vendetta University Looking For Big Game From Two-Players in Miami Matchup

Vendetta University
Vendetta University quarterback Karl Heiser is in major need of more protection. It seems that another two-way player could be the answer. (Maximum Football).

In Vendetta University’s blowout 38-6 Week 2 victory against the Pittsburgh Panthers, we saw sophomore defensive back Trey Daubert dominate on both sides of the ball. Daubert had three sacks on defense and took some snaps at running back, compiling 109 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns, one on the ground and the other through the air. Now it seems there could be another two-way star for Vendetta University.

Freshman quarterback Karl Heiser was one of the lone bright spots in VU’s Week 1 victory over Virginia Tech. Even then, Heiser was sacked numerous times and threw a costly pick-six that almost put the game out of reach. Yet No. 17 marched his team down the field for a game-winning drive to begin his college career.

Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Panthers provided much of the same when it comes to offensive line play. On the sidelines, coach Law was visibly frustrated by his offensive line’s performance against an inferior Pittsburgh team.

Now, Coach Law is digging into the bag of tricks for this week’s matchup against Miami. Linebacker Scott Logush was seen taking snaps along the offensive line, primarily at guard and center, in addition to his usual spot at inside linebacker.

It’s no secret our O-Line has struggled our first few games. Scott took some snaps on the O-Line and will more than likely see some snaps against Miami. We will take it on a game by game basis on if Scott has found a home there. His snaps on the defensive side shouldn’t be hurt too much

Coach Law said in regards to playing Logush at various positions

Vendetta University is currently sitting at 2-0, and they’re hoping to make it 3-0 in their inaugural season.
