The 2019 NFL Draft wasn’t much of a quarterback draft. The 2020 NFL Draft is the total opposite. It’s a big quarterback draft that features Tua Tagovailoa, Jake Fromm, and Justin Herbert. The former is the odds on favorite to go first in the 2020 draft. Tua is not just the favorite according to Vegas, he’s a big-time favorite.
The odds are according to The Superbook at the Westgate Las Vegas
I think Vegas is right. I would would be floored if Tua isn’t the first pick. Fromm and Herbert are good quarterbacks. Tua is special and on a totally different level. I truly believe that Tua is left-handed Russell Wilson except better. Tagovailoa is the best progression thrower I’ve ever seen. His ability to go from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 then back to 2 and deliver a strike is flat out not human.
If you were hoping to put some money on some draft odds, you’re not going to find much value betting on Tua because he’s already a huge favorite to go first. Especially with that crazy family of his. Would it be that big of a shock if he pulls a stunner and stays in school? I doubt that would happen but it can’t be ruled out.
The 2020 NFL Draft is already shaping up to be a really good one. 3 strong quarterback prospects. The wide receiver class is much better at the top. I’m against first round receivers, but Jerry Jeudy deserves that love. He’s going in the top 10. Grant Delpit is a total monster and a special safety prospect. Chase Young at Ohio State is very good too.
