UFC 310 Best Bets

The final UFC pay-per-view of 2024 is here. That means there are limited betting opportunities left before the UFC takes its annual hiatus. Thankfully, UFC 310 has a few great bets available. Here are three of the best bets you can make for the event.

Shavkat Rakhmonov ITD -135

The first bet for UFC 310 comes in the co-main event between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry. The moneyline is wide with Rakhmonov sitting as a -375 favorite while Machado Garry is a +295 underdog. The best way to play the favorite is to shorten the line with the inside-the-distance prop. That bet is lined at -135.

It does not take a genius to see the value in this bet. Rakhmonov has a professional MMA record of 18-0 and he has finished every opponent. If the oddsmakers believe he should be a -375 favorite; his inside-the-distance prop should not be close to even money.

In this matchup, Rakhmonov will likely force exchanges with Machado Garry. This may be striking, clinch, or grappling exchanges. In any scenario, Rakhmonov can finish the fight. I simply have a hard time seeing Machado Garry survive to the final bell. It is a given that Rakhmonov will push the pace and hunt a finish.

At -135, I am more than willing to bet that Rakhmonov finds a finish over 25 minutes. That is my favorite bet for UFC 310.

Alexander Volkov +3.5 -105

The second bet for UFC 310 is for Alexander Volkov to cover three and a half points against Ciryl Gane. This means Volkov has to lose by less than four points if the fight goes to a decision or get a finish. If he gets finished, the bet does not cash. In my opinion, this is a strong way to bet on a +300 underdog without taking the full splash on the moneyline.

I do not expect this to be the domination the betting odds suggest. Volkov is a technical striker and is capable of winning one round. That is all he has to do to win the fight.

Gane’s grappling flaws provide Volkov with a path to covering as well. If Volkov can land a takedown at any point in this fight, he can win a round. If he lands two, he can win the fight.

The combination of Volkov’s striking and Gane’s defensive grappling create two separate paths for Volkov to have success in this bout. That makes it very plausible for him to win a round. At -105, that is a solid bet for UFC 310.

Movsar Evloev -3.5 +120

The final bet for UFC 310 is for Movsar Evloev to cover the three-and-a-point spread against Aljamain Sterling. In this scenario, Evloev is a -230 favorite. The spread is a solid way to get plus money on the favorite.

I expect Evloev to have a lot of success in this fight. This appears to be a bad matchup for Sterling. In his bantamweight tenure, Sterling had a lot of success with his physicality and wrestling. At featherweight, his typical physical advantages disappear. That will make it harder for him to utilize his wrestling. In this specific matchup, it will be even harder considering Evloev is a sensational grappler as well.

If Evloev and Sterling’s wrestling and physicality cancel each other out, the pair with be left to strike for three rounds. In that fight, I want Evloev. This is because he is better defensively while also being capable of landing more damaging strikes. Sterling is more like to pick and poke from the outside, but Evloev will be landing harder.

I could see Evloev finishing this fight. After all, he dropped Arnold Allen in his last fight. That is respectable. That finish upside is present alongside the ability to cleanly win every round. At +120, there is value on Evloev covering the point spread as a favorite. It is also one of the best bets available for UFC 310.
