Tyson Fury shares major announcement amid Francis Ngannou rumors

Tyson Fury had huge news that he shared when speaking with Good Morning Britain.

Tyson Fury, whose nickname is The Gypsy King, is a British professional boxer. He is an all-time great heavyweight boxer. In addition, Fury has a magnificent record of 32-0-1. Importantly, he is the best heavyweight boxer in the world. 

Fury has held many belts and medals throughout his boxing career. He had multiple medals, which included two golds, in his amateur boxing career. His success did not stop at the professional level. As Fury became a two-time world heavyweight champion. Furthermore, he has held the WBA (super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and WBC belts in his storied career.

However, it appears he is beginning to move on from professional boxing as a whole. When discussing his next possible fights with Good Morning Britain, he stated,

“This is not professional boxing this is pure entertainment”

He was asked about the difference between professional bouts and the exhibition fights that he wants to do. Fury made a clear distinction by saying,

“The exhibition is you’re not there to win or lose. You are there to enjoy, have a good time, and put on a show for the fans… I’m looking at fighting Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, whoever The Rock Dwayne Johnson that’d be fantastic”

Without a doubt, Fury has his sights set on fun fights that will be top-notch entertainment. He listed all-time greats like Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, and Frank Bruno as possible opponents. While a lot of people would be enthralled at those matchups, he definitely missed one huge opponent. The undisputed UFC heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou.

Francis Ngannou is the UFC heavyweight champion as well as one of the scariest men on the planet. In addition, Fury is the best heavyweight boxer in the world. Everyone has always wanted to see the UFC and boxing world champions face off. Now, in today’s world of crossover fights that might be a possibility.

Both parties have discussed this possible spectacle multiple times. As a matter of fact, Fury even invited Ngannou into the ring after Fury’s finish of boxer Dillion Whyte. Fury and Ngannou have frequently expressed interest in the matchup. They know that it would be a huge event for people across the world and it would make a lot of money. He made it clear that he wants to do entertaining exhibitions that will be fun crowd-pleasers.
