Tyreek Hill: “Going to try and keep” Jalen Ramsey In Miami

All signs are pointing to a breakup between the Miami Dolphins and cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Miami is actively shopping the former Super Bowl champion; however, wide receiver Tyreek Hill is going to try to work his magic to keep him in South Florida. While appearing at Fanatics Fest, Hill said he is going to spend time with Ramsey and try to convince him to work things out with the Dolphins to get him to stay.

Full quote via PFT via NBCSports.com:

“I’m going to hang out with Ramsey,” Hill said. “I’m going to get him back, full-court press, I’m getting him, Ramsey, back in a Dolphins jersey. I don’t care what they say — it’s tampering, whatever, we need Ramsey. He’s a dog. He’s one of the best corners in the league, man. Great leader, great teammate too, though. That’s what he doesn’t get a lot of credit for. We just need him on the Dolphins, man.”

This honestly might be too little, too late for the Dolphins. I don’t see any pathway forward where this team is even a playoff contender, let alone a legitimate Super Bowl contender, so why not try to sell off as many pieces as possible to rebuild this team? Chris Grier has already named his price for Hill, but the trading shouldn’t stop there. Hill, Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith, there shouldn’t be nearly anyone untouchable for the Dolphins. The AFC East is solid, and they aren’t close.

If we are being honest, the teardown should’ve started last off-season. It’s never too late to make those moves and look toward the 2026 NFL Draft.
