It sure seems like Jalen Ramsey has played his last game for the Dolphins. That might not be the case for Tyreek Hill, but it also seems like Miami is growing tired of him. The Dolphins aren’t desperate to get rid of Hill, like they are with Ramsey. However, if someone really wants the speedy wide receiver, general manager Chris Grier has a price tag in mind.
“That is not anything that we’re pursuing,” Grier said. “Like I said, if someone wants to come and give me two first round picks then we’d consider it. But, as of right now, it’s not something we’re considering.”
This is obviously a ridiculous price tag. Especially when you consider the fact that he was involved in a domestic dispute earlier this month. On top of that, he’s 31 and failed to crack the 1,000 yard make for the first time since 2019. Oh, and Hill has flirted with retirement, too. Sorry, Grier, but NOBODY is forking over that kind of draft capital for your headache. Not to mention the fact that Miami never gave up a first round pick when they made the initial trade with the Chiefs.
The vibes seem really down in Miami right now. If things go south, a nasty rebuild could start. I love Mike McDaniel, but it sure feels like his player-coach mentality is part of the problem down in South Beach.
