Tyleik Williams was a big part of the National Championship Ohio State team. None of that matters now as all eyes focus in on his impact on the next level. We’re grinding through these 2025 NFL Draft profiles so let’s go over everything you need to know on Williams!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 13, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, National Championship 

Williams, 22, was a four star prospect during the 2021 cycle. The Manassas, Virginia, native was ranked as the 124th ranked player, 18th overall defensive lineman, and 4th overall player in the state. Checking in at 6-foot-3, 334, with 32 inch arms, Williams spent all four years with the Buckeyes.

Let me just start here. Wiliams was a load on the defensive line for Ohio State, but there’s no questions after that Combine. The guy looks like a house but moves like a high powered truck. The movement skills he showed at the event at that size are beyond impressive. There’s no question the athletic traits here are real.

The timeline looks like this. Wiliams was a contributor right away as a freshman but was mostly a rotational piece as a freshman and sophomore. The next two years, Williams made Third-team All-Big Ten. During the last two years, he notched 18 TFLs and 5.5 sacks. In 2023, he even had five PBUs, which is an absurd number given the circumstances.

The footwork is there and it’s pretty obvious he’s a high level run defender. Doesn’t have crazy length but the handwork is also there. Doesn’t have any issues tackling and has a really good first step to impact the play. Does a nice job shedding blocks and the traits are obvious.

I am a fan of Tyleik Williams. I have a late second/early third round grade here. Someone who can become a red chip starter with plus size along the defensive front.
