I wouldn’t count on Troopz getting a contract extension at Barstool Sports. Troopz or otherwise known as the crazy Arsenal fan at Barstool. Things might be so bad that Troopz may as well start marching home permanently.
On the most recent episode of The Dave Portnoy Show, Dave tells a story about how he now hates Troopz. The story about Troopz starts at the one hour and 28 minute mark of the show.
For spoilers, Portnoy essentially tells a story about how Troopz messaged Dave about food recommendations in New York. Dave got Troopz a dinner reservation at a members only club. Troopz didn’t show up to the dinner. Additionally, told nobody that he was going to miss said dinner. Asshole move on all levels.
That’s not one you come back from. As of right now, there have been no further updates on if Troopz attempted to repair the relationship. It also doesn’t feel close to the end of the story. The only thing that is certain is that Dave now hates Arsenal with a fiery passion. Dave wants to buy Chelsea just to ruin any future Arsenal have.
Keep in mind, Barstool already has their Troopz 2.0 in place. I’ll let them tell that story. For the record, the newer higher is being promoted on the main social accounts way more frequently. Call it food for thought. Maybe a fan of Tottenham rises to the ranks. Maybe not.
