Legendary QB Tom Brady has announced his retirement

It has been official, Tom Brady has announced his retirement from the NFL, according to his Twitter.

In his last NFL game, Brady was defeated by the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card game. He threw for two touchdowns and one interception on 66 pass attempts. The Buccaneers fell short of the Super Bowl in a disappointing last year for Brady.

I am not the biggest Brady fan in the world, and I will be the first one to admit. I am saddened to see the GOAT retire. Even I got a little choked up watching his thank-you video. But we will always remember him as the greatest QB of all time.

Going down his line of Hall-of-Fame stats, Brady was a seven time Super Bowl winner, three-time league MVP, finished as the all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns. He finished with 89,214 passing yards and 649 passing touchdowns.

No one knew how long or how good Brady would play in the NFL. He was the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He was selected to none other than the New England Patriots, and that’s where it all began. A legacy like no other, a player like no other, and a career like no other. Tom Brady is special. There will be no other human being to know the game like Brady, play as long as him, and play as an illustrious career like him.

Overall, Brady’s career just speaks for itself. I don’t need to comment anymore on how good he was, how many Super Bowls he won, or how many touchdowns he threw. I think the NFL should just appreciate his greatness like all the stars in professional sports and not bash him because we don’t like a player. So with that being said. Thank you, Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. We will miss you.
