Tom Brady has played his last game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chinese farmer always says maybe, but this one doesn’t seem hard to figure out. Time will tell if Brady returns for the 2023 NFL Season. However, it likely won’t be with Tampa. Check out the way GOAT ended his press conference after the Bucs 31-14 defeat to the Cowboys in the wild-card round.
“I’m going to go home and get a good night’s sleep,” Brady spoke with reporters. “Or as good as I can tonight. … This has been a lot of focus on this game, so it’ll just be one day at a time, truly.”
“I love this organization,” said Brady, who turns 46 in August. “It’s a great place to be. Thank you everybody for welcoming me, and all you regulars. I’m just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave the same thing back to you. I appreciate it.”
A lot of thank yous and appreciations are in there, huh? This is Tom Brady signaling the end of his Bucs’ tenure. They found a way to win a Super Bowl so it’s been a damn good run while it lasted. The former Patriots quarterback finishes his Bucs tenure with a 32-18 record including that Super Bowl in 2020 along with three straight NFC South titles. Not bad!
Brady is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Raiders are lurking hot and heavy for his services. The Josh McDaniels factor could play a role. The 49ers, Titans, and a return to the Patriots are all other possible landing spots.
