The Tua Tagovailoa vs Joe Burrow debate is going to happen for the next coming months. Personally, I don’t think it’s close. You don’t pass on left-handed Russell Wilson. I would take Tua with the first pick in the draft. I’m not even 100 percent sure Joe Burrow is better than Alex Smith. That’s my stance on the matter. It’s not the last time I’ll probably talk about it.
Every draft guy is going to have his or her own take. Enter Todd McShay who has taken the ultimate fence rider position:
Hey, Todd… great analysis. Here’s what I’m sure will happen. Some magic cloud will suddenly appear when you’re covering the draft that will tell you whether he’s guaranteed to have 10 years of full health. What a jackass.
Hey, Todd… try taking a real stand. Would you draft him ahead of Joe Burrow or not? There is no guarantee with anybody. This is the ultimate coward move. What’s worse is that you put this on social media and were proud of it. Here’s what I don’t need. Some magic 8 ball to guarantee he will be healthy. I’ll take my chances. When he turns into left-handed Russell Wilson, don’t try to take credit for it.
Want to know why ESPN’s ratings are tanking and are canceling shows left and right? Nonsense like this. Hey, let’s create a fake scenario to explain why player x is better than player y despite the fact that the fake scenario doesn’t exist. That’s ESPN in a nutshell. I don’t need the guarantee. Give me Tua Tagovailoa with the first pick in the draft. What’s going to be even better is when ESPN 12 months later has a segment called “why did teams pass on Tua Tagovailoa”. Morons.
Hey, Todd… keep your weak sauce off TV. Grow a beard, get in the gym, take a stand. Stop being a coward. This is the single most pathetic take I’ve ever seen. Stephen A might be an idiot, but at least he believes in what he’s saying. Give me that over Todd McShay fence riding and struggling to pick a side.
