Tim Tebow Reaches An Agreement With The Philadelphia Eagles
Former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles. Tebow has not been in the NFL since 2013, when the Patriots released the signal caller during the pre-season. It appears Tebow’s original visit was not a publicity stunt. ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently broke the story.
This will now be the fourth quarterback on the Eagles roster. Third String quarterback Matt Barkley will now become trade bait in all likely-hood. It remains to be seen what type of role Chip Kelly will use Tebow in. The more interesting question now becomes will Sam Bradford become trade bait in an attempt to move up for Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota. Chip Kelly’s offseason just got a little more interesting today to say the least.
