The Giants Have Lost Their Mind About Eli Manning

The Giants have lost their damn minds about Eli Manning. He’s coming back in 2019 (Andrew Mills/NJ.com Advanced Media)

Nothing describes the New York Giants better than this tweet. They are becoming the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL. Eli Manning can’t play anymore. Eli threw 18 touchdowns and 27 interceptions….. that was 6 years ago. It’s now 2019 and Manning is 38 years of age. It’s over. He can’t play anymore. The Giants refuse to believe the truth.

The Giants brass spoke today the combine. You can’t even make these quotes up. That’s how stupid they are.

“Well, I think Eli can help us win games, and he proved when the players around him started playing better that he can play at a very high level and help us win games, so at this point I want Eli back,” Shurmur said from Indianapolis. “He’s back.”

“If you tell a lie long enough, you believe it. Dave Gettleman said defending Eli Manning. The narrative has been so negative, when you take that position, you have trouble getting off that spot. The narrative has been negative and I don’t think it’s fair.”

Eli has a $23.2 million cap hit for next season in the final year of his contract. The past two years, the Giants have won a combined 8 games. I guess the only thing you can say is maybe they are just saying this to cover up the fact that they are going to draft someone. We all know the Giants probably aren’t that smart. New York holds the 6th pick in the NFL Draft and they just might have all of the available quarterbacks to choose from.

I never thought I would say this but I’m starting to feel bad for Odell Beckham. He’s producing with a quarterback who is shot. Hell, Odell was a better quarterback than Eli was last year. Odell threw touchdowns in 2 attempts last year.
