Tate Ratledge 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Let’s talk some Tate Ratledge. This dude was such an anchor for the Georgia offensive line, and we’re going to dive into all the nuts and bolts for this 2025 NFL Draft profile!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1

Ratledge, 23, was a four star recruit during the 2020 cycle. He was also the 5th rated tackle in the country and 8th rated player in the state of Georgia. He spent all five seasons with the Dawgs playing right guard for a vast majority of his time with the team.

He’s been a four year starter for Georgia but did miss some time via injury. In 2021 he redshirted after missing all but one game with a foot injury. Then this past season, he had the tightrope cheese surgery missing four games with that. When he’s actually been on the field, the accolades tell a lot of the story. Ratledge has been First-team All-SEC each of the last two seasons.

Ratledge also had a really nice showing at the Combine. He ran a really good time and passed all the movement skills. I think if we’ve learned anything from this process, it’s that he’s way better than Xavier Truss and Dylan Fairchild. Speaking of which, when Ratledge was hurt this year, you felt it. Georgia really struggled the first few games without him and almost blew the Kentucky game when he first went down.

Over the last three seasons as a starter, Ratledge has only given up two total sacks. That’s while playing in the toughest conference in America. The guy has a lot of starts under his belt with proven production while also being a plus athlete for the position. Most guards are turds and Ratledge has way better feet than most.

I think we learned this year that Tate Ratledge is a real player. I think he’s very much a round 2-3 player and will project as a red chip starting caliber player.
