Tate Frazier Returns to The Ringer and One Shining Podcast

Tate Frazier has announced his return to The Ringer to revive the college basketball show One Shining Podcast. This news comes on the heels of Frazier’s former Titus & Tate co-host Mark Titus heading off to Barstool Sports. The pair hosted One Shining Podcast at The Ringer in the past before leaving for FOX. Tate is now bringing the show back with Kyle Crichton.

Do Tate Frazier and Mark Titus Have Beef?

In a recent appearance on Green Light with Chris Long, Tate addressed the elephant in the room. There is no beef with Mark Titus as many feared.

“A lot of people will run with their stories about this or that, but at the end of the day, I love Mark Titus. I loved doing the show with Mark Titus. We did it for six years, and there’s still times where something will happen and I’m like, ‘I want to talk to Titus about this.’ Frankly, I’ve told him either on the air or off the air that I want to talk college basketball. I want to stay in touch, I want to be friends, and that’s where it was. Look, this is two people with differing career paths. I think Titus always had an affinity for the opportunities that could be there at Barstool. He got a great opportunity, I was excited for him, I was happy for him. And he’s going to go and be great.

So I kind of compartmentalize the two things. Yes, I’m sad about the end of Titus & Tate. It was three years. I own Titus & Tate, I launched the show through my production company, we licensed the show to FOX Sports and Westwood One. It was a lot of work building that brand after the OSP days. We did it for three years, we did OSP for three years […] but he’ll go and be great. I will support him, I will never be a thorn in his side.

It was a fork in the road. He went his way, I’m going to go my way, and I’m never going to say a bad thing about him. If he says bad things about me, I’m going to have to hire someone to say bad things about him. It was a great run, it was a great show. I loved doing it, and if he ever wants to come talk college basketball with me on whatever I do in the future, he’s always welcome.”

Mark Titus has teased talking about the end of Titus & Tate on the first episode of The Mark Titus Show, releasing March 6. Tate Frazier and One Shining Podcast will also have new episodes out shortly.
