Overall not a very big day in terms of news. So, we focus mainly on this Shohei Ohtani situation and some of the facts that have played out. Mizuhara has turned himself into authorities, appearing before the U.S. District Court on Friday.
He was found guilty of one count of bank fraud for stealing around $16 million from Ohtani. Shohei Ohtani just seems relieved to have this situation relatively behind him, wanting to instead just focus on baseball.
It’s been a crazy situation ever since the story first broke, but Shohei Ohtani’s play signifies he is in fact focusing on winning baseball games. I’m sure more information will come out on this and when it does I will be here to cover it.
