This Stat Proves Russell Westbrook Is The Most Fraudulent MVP Winner Of All-Time

Sorry, not sorry in advance but I’m going to talk about Russell Westbrook again. Remember that time I wrote about how he is the most fraudulent MVP winner of all-time? I have a stat that even further proves what has always been the case. The guy is a total cancer and if he’s on your team he makes you automatically worse.

The smart people knew it from day one. The normal people probably figured it out around the time the Lakers swapped KCP and Alex Caruso for Westbrook and watched the team go down the toilet. The dumb people still think Westbrook is awesome because they themselves lack Westbrook’s ultimate kryptonite… Self Awareness.

Anyway… here is the stat:

You can keep living in Looney Tunes land. You’re only hurting yourself. Can we just be real about this clown? He’s basically the NHL’s version of Ryan Suter. The only player in the NHL that I can remember ever being bought out twice. Is there any other equivalent of this? It’s one thing to get bought out once. It’s another thing to get bought out twice by the same team that both times collected additional draft assets because the original team after a large same size decided they were better off without you.

What is it now for Westbrook, six teams in seven years coming up here? He’s gotten passed around more than Janice from the Sopranos. I could technically say seven teams if you include the Jazz but we don’t even need to. If you don’t get by now that Westbrook is one of the biggest cancers in NBA history, there is no helping you.

I’m going to go back to this line by Brad Stevens because I think it’s one of the smartest things he’s ever said. Stevens is a champion today because he understands team building. He wants players who are self-aware. Westbrook may as well be the anti-christ in terms of self awareness. The truth of the matter is that the NBA should be ashamed of themselves for rewarding Westbrook for being a selfish prick.

Trae Young will never win either just so we’re clear on that.
