Skip Bayless doesn’t have a clue. Never has, never will. Apparently, it’s all sunshine and rainbows for one of the great idiots of society. Buddy boy Skip was recently in the news for some ignorant comments he made about Damar Hamlin. Isn’t the first time he has done it and it won’t be the last. The TV Networks will continue to stand by him for some reason that doesn’t make any sense.
In the days that have followed, Skip got into a tussle with Shannon Sharpe while continuing to make a fool out of himself when he actually talks about sports. When talking about the previous Buffalo Bills game, Skip made an odd comment about John Brown. Just give it a watch and then I’ll give the necessary commentary.
“I don’t think anybody can do what he did,” Bayless said. “If we can see the two throws that finally broke the game back open in favor of Buffalo. He throws to that kid Brown, who looks like he’s going to be a star at some point.”
What Skip is referring to is this play where John Brown caught a 42 yard touchdown to essentially seal Buffalo’s win over New England.
The smart people know that John Brown is 32-years-old and has been in the league for what seems like forever. In fact, Brown played for three years in Buffalo (2018-2020). It was maybe understandable to not know who John Brown was when the Cardinals drafted him out of Pittsburgh State in 2014. In the year 2023? Words can’t describe how bad that is.
It’s the same old story. The great idiot of the sports media landscape gets away with murder and no one cares enough to fire him.
