There is new hope for the New York Jets because of the turnover in the important positions for the franchise, but what does that mean for investors on SImBull? They are the 20th most expensive team in the NFL market at $42.07 per share.

Biggest Reason to Invest on SimBull

With any new beginning comes hope, and the Jets have two very important pieces that are getting their first crack at this level. Zack Wilson is going to be the starting quarterback of this team in Week 1 of the 2021 season. The BYU native was drafted 2nd overall, and the team has put all their eggs in his basket after trading Sam Darnold.

Along with a new signal-caller, the Jets have moved on from Adam Gase (thank goodness) and hired Robert Saleh from San Francisco. If he can capture the team and have them buy into his high-energy antics, this could be a great long-term pairing.

Biggest Reason Not to Invest on SimBull

Unfortunately, they are still the Jets and are nowhere close to competing for anything meaningful. They have a bottom-tier roster outside of two bright spots on the offensive line, and Saleh is a defensive-oriented coach, so that will not be an easy task for a first-time head coach.

My Opinion

With a price over forty dollars a share, I would like to invest in a team that can earn dividends almost every Sunday, and the Jets are not that team. Rookie quarterbacks scare me, and Joe Douglas hasn’t proven to Jet’s fans like myself that he is capable of evaluating the quarterback position well.

I would pass on the Jets for now, but if this team whose price sneaks into the low thirties, it is something I would consider purchasing.
