The Los Angeles Rams ended the season strong, finishing 10-6 and second in the NFC West before losing to the Green Bay Packers 32-18 in the divisional round. This Rams team is talented all over and it may have found the elite QB it was missing, but have they done enough to be a surefire investment on Simbull NFL? Find out below. If you would like to check out our most recent post covering the other Los Angeles team, the Chargers, you can find it here.
As I previously mentioned in passing, the Los Angeles Rams made a blockbuster trade, moving off of Jared Goff in favor of Matt Stafford. Stafford finally has a great supporting cast around him and a genius of a head coach in Sean McVay, and this offense has the potential to put up massive numbers every game. The receiving corps of Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Van Jefferson, and others is easily the best overall group Stafford has ever had. The Rams also have the best defensive tackle in football in Aaron Donald, who has been playing out of this world. This team went 10-6 with Goff in a strong NFC West, and the sky is the limit with Stafford under center.
While this roster is loaded with talent, they lack depth at a lot of positions. Their draft class is subpar, and they are situated in a brutal NFC West. A case could be made for all four teams to win the division this year, so every divisional game is going to be a dogfight. My biggest concern is honestly the win total. I mentioned above that this team SHOULD win more than 10 games, but they could regress with a new signal-caller in this system playing in the hardest division in football.
The Rams currently sit at a value of $47 on SimBull NFL, the eigth-highest on the site. I believe this Rams team could make a run at a Super Bowl with Stafford under center, and they are absolutely a worthwhile investment. The depth and division is a concern, but there is far too much talent from top to bottom on this roster for this team to not succeed.
