Our best team to buy in each division is now going to the AFC East. This division is now different with Brady’s departure and the Bills’ emergence. The Patriots trend towards irrelevancy and the Dolphins continue to try to build a contender. What does that mean for SimBull NFL though? Some of the better investments in this division may surprise you.
#4 New England Patriots $35
Why? Why are the Patriots $35? After their desperate Free Agency this offseason, please don’t tell me we are this high on them. Sure, they are plenty of other more expensive head-scratchers ahead of them (Bengals anyone?). Sure there are two teams in the AFC East that are more expensive than them, but right now they are the 12 most expensive. Do they have a top 12 future or are they a top 12 team this year? I don’t think so.
#3 New York Jets $26.03
I ALMOST put the Jets at #2 just for the price but decided it was too early for that. It’s crucial to see the progress they make this year to see they are worth investing in. Their draft wasn’t bad, it was solid but the Jets were horrible, one decent draft won’t be enough to turn this franchise around. Plus, we have no idea how Zach Wilson will transition to the NFL. The price is attractive as they are the 3rd cheapest team to buy. But if they don’t pan out, it would be a waste of money. After this year we will have a better idea.
#2 Miami Dolphins $39.01
I was a big fan of the Dolphins before the season last year. I felt like with Brian Flores, they could possibly make the playoffs. Their defense is solid but their offense needed some work. They addressed some of that during the draft with Jaylen Waddle. However, this team is the 2nd best team in the AFC East and the most expensive one in the division. The future in Miami may be bright but $39.01? Let’s pump the brakes a little. Still, long-term, this might pay off wonders.
#1 Buffalo Bills $36.89
This is by far the best price in the AFC East. Not only do I know that the Bills are the best team in the division, but they will also be battling for a Super Bowl appearance as well. They are a contender and they’re not priced as one. At almost $37, they are cheaper than the Dolphins and will be good short-term and long-term. Think about it, $2 less, the Patriots are nowhere near the Bills or have as much potential as them, $2 more, the Dolphins may contend with the Bills later on, but the Bills are the big dogs in the AFC East. They’re the 9th most expensive team in SimBull NFL but are a top 5 team in the NFL. If you want a top-caliber team for cheaper, this is the one to invest in.
