SimBull Full Team Breakdown 2021: San Francisco 49ers

After a very interesting offseason, the San Francisco 49ers have drafted Trey Lance and are looking to make a return to the playoffs, but what does that mean for investors on SimBull? They are the 9th most expensive NFL team on the market at $47.83 a share.

Biggest Reason to Invest on SimBull

When you have arguably one of the greatest current coaches in the NFL, that is a good thing for fans and investors to be happy about. Kyle Shanahan is one of the greatest offensive minds in the entire league, and he can pretty much run the ball successfully whenever he wants. Having an effective run game opens up the entire offense and can make a young quarterback look great. Regardless of what quarterback the 49ers put out, they have a good chance on any given day with Shanahan.

Biggest Reason Not to Invest on SimBull

As an investor, uncertainty is super scary and usually a red flag. So not having a clear-cut answer as to who is going to start week 1 of the 2021 NFL season is something I would tend to avoid. Jimmy Garoppolo has shown flashes of elite play but has overall been a disappointment in the Bay Area. My concern with Jimmy G. would be how much of a mentor he will be to Trey Lance. If he thinks he still can compete at a high level, I wouldn’t be shocked if he was a bad teammate.

They lost their defensive coordinator Robert Saleh to the New York Jets, and that combined with an “underwhelming” 2021 draft (according to Trey Daubert) are all reasons that investors could be skeptical about buying now.

My Opinion

I believe in Kyle Shanahan, so giving him a brand new quarterback to mold is something I can get behind. You might not see great returns this year, but this is a long play, so snagging the 49ers for under $50 now could be something we will laugh about next year.
