The ACC had the most normal season out of all the major power five conferences in 2020. The Demon Decans might have had an under .500 record, but they showed flashes of potential throughout the year. They lost to Clemson and North Carolina State to open the season but managed to rattle off four straight wins beating Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Out-of-conference games are back in college football and that means cupcakes schedules are back too. The Demon Decans got off to a hot 3-0 start in 2021 with only 1 win coming from within the ACC. They are getting into their conference schedule, but the ACC is so weak this team can legitimately start 6-0.

In The Market

The SimWake Forest Demon Decans are 37th overall in the SimBull CFB market with a share price of $39.50. They have the 7th highest price in their conference but are within three dollars of four other ACC teams. Their 3-0 start is a promising start. They have already returned $1.50 and they have a chance to drive their price up with a perfect start.

If Wake Forest slips against an ACC opponent, however, their price will drop considering how weak the conference is after Clemson. The end of the season gets a lot tougher, so investors should consider getting out before their Cinderella run ends.
