Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull, and next up are the University of Pittsburgh.
Kenny Pickett. I can end the blog right there. The scrappy Pitt Panthers quarterback gives this team a chance to win every Saturday. Pickett is completing over 71% of his throws with a 10-1 TD to INT ratio through three games this season. Pickett might not have any flashy tools but he’s a damn good collegiate quarterback and a big reason why they were able to defeat Tennessee earlier in the year.
One other thing to note with Pitt, for a smaller D1 school, they have an amazing pedigree of churning out some unbelievable defensive linemen. Aaron Donald was a stud at Pitt. Patrick Jones II, Rashad Weaver, Jaylen Twyman are all recent names that have come from this Pitt Panther program. Those things matter.
Pittsburgh is currently priced at $38.05 a share on the SimBull CFB market. It’s a middle of the road team in the market. They are priced just above Maryland and just below Virginia in the ACC. Outside of Clemson, the ACC feels very much like a conference that’s up for grabs. Pitt should definitely be a team that’s worth a flier. Are we sure they can’t be in the hunt at the end of the year?
