On The Field:

When you go 1-10, the record sort of speaks for yourself here. Syracuse is not a very good football team. If the football team could ever reach the levels of the basketball team, they would be a much better investment.

Dino Babers does have a losing record at Syracuse but does have a winning record for his coaching career. He’s probably the right guy for the job. It’s just hard when you’re coaching at a basketball school.

The Orange currently sits at 2-1 on the season with the lone loss coming against Rutgers. The two wins came at the hands of Albany and Ohio. Syracuse face a real test tonight against a fiery Liberty team with a real quarterback. Hey, Syracuse is one win away from matching the Vegas win total so there’s that.

In The Market:

Syracuse is listed as one of the lowest priced teams on the SimBull CFB market listed at $25.80. You get what you pay for. If you don’t want to spend top dollar on a team, Syracuse isn’t a bad gamble. They’re down right now in the ACC but this is a team that won 10 games in 2018. That upside is at least possible and you’re buying low here so it’s a solid investment.
