Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull and next up is the University of Colorado.
Let’s get the bad out of the way; this Colorado offense was supposed to be very solid under Karl Dorrell. To say it wasn’t last season would be an understatement. Their passing offense was 87th in NCAA last season, that can’t happen again. However, turning to the positives, this Buffaloes rushing game was fantastic last season led by Jarek Broussard. Broussard rushed for 895 yards and 5 touchdowns in a mere 6 games last season. 2019 leading rusher Alex Fontenot, who was injured before the 2020 season, will return and create a two-headed monster at running back. The offensive line in Colorado this season will look to roll their 2020 overwhelming success into 2021. This Buffaloes team played Texas A&M to the very end in a 10-3 game early this season, which should breathe a ton of confidence into this team. An ugly loss to Minnesota might slow things down a bit, but if things start clicking for this team, they could make some noise in the Pac-12 South.
At this moment, Colorado is currently priced at $27.99, well towards the bottom of the market on SimBull CFB. There are some bright lights on this team, but not only do they face a tall task with their schedule, but the Pac-12 has some legit teams this year. I mean, for $28, it’s hard to argue not buying at least a share this low and just sitting on it. If you are looking for immediate returns, avoid like the plague. But if you can show patience, maybe just maybe this Colorado team can earn you a few bucks.
