SimBull 2021 CFB Full Team Breakdown: The University of Arizona

Welcome to the first SimBull CFB full team breakdown, the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be breaking down and analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs, and the first up is the University of Arizona Wildcats.

2020 Record: 0-5 (0-5)

2021 Projected Win Total (Per William Hill): 2.5

On the Field

2020 was a rough year for the Wildcats, but like the rest of the world, they are hoping to close the door on the past and look forward to the future. The shortened season arguably affected the U of Arizona the most out of the entire PAC-12. An all-conference schedule of far superior opponents is sure to kill morale, so a regular schedule can maybe get them back on track.

Jedd Fisch was hired in the off-season to take over the struggling program. In week one, his team kept it close with BYU on a neutral site losing by only one score, but returned to Tucson for their home opener and got blown out by San Diego State.

In The Market

Shares of the SimArizona Wildcats are $23.45 which is the fourth-lowest price in the entire SimBull CFB market. With such a low price per share, they are pretty much already at their floor so this could be a buy and hold share. There looks to be only one “lock” on their schedule, so don’t expect any short-term dividends this year.

They can move up if they somehow get a few extra wins over their regular season projection, but this is a buy and forget about share for a few years until we can see what coach Fisch can do.
