Should Fantasy Football Owners Take A Shot On Tyrion Davis-Price?

I really hate Kyle Shanahan sometimes. Awesome play caller, terrible talent evaluator. The 2022 NFL Draft class will go down as one that had a ton of running back depth. Any guy that gets drafted to San Francisco automatically has value based on that Shanahan zone rushing scheme. Unfortunately, he picked another asshole that can’t really play, Tyrion Davis-Price.

I swear Shanahan gets horny off this shit. A year ago it was Trey Sermon. Elijah Mitchell was picked three rounds later and became the guy. Now it’s Davis-Price and honestly… does anybody know what to do with him? Jeff Wilson, JaMychal Hasty, Joe Williams, Jalen Hurd, name whoever you want. Shanahan loves nothing more than taking scrubs and throwing them at the position. He can’t draft at all. I was not kind to San Francisco in my draft grades once again.

It sucks for fantasy owners that actually pay attention. Despite having no first round pick and multiple RB options on the roster, they took Davis-Price who I honestly thought was going no higher than the 7th round. We’re talking about a guy that did virtually nothing at LSU. Davis-Price had a 1,000 yard season at LSU last year but prior to that never had any real draft buzz. John Emery was their big time recruit.

Good luck. That’s all I have to say. My answer is I don’t know. It appears that Elijah Mitchell is the clear-cut RB1 and there’s no reason to suggest that should change. Sometimes the obvious answer is the one staring you in the face. As of right now, your best bet is to gamble on Mitchell and maybe take Davis-Price as a handcuff. Other than that, I have nothing else for you. Anybody that says otherwise is lying because they don’t know the answer either.
