Reported Update On John Cena’s Potential Appearance At WrestleMania 39

John Cena is one of the best wrestlers of all time. He has had a long and very successful career in WWE. But father time catches up to everyone, so Cena’s in-ring appearances have been dwindling down. Plus he has been tasking on other ventures in Hollywood as well. But all of this doesn’t mean that Cena is done with WWE at all. In fact, there are reports that John Cena will have one more match at WrestleMania 39. This has led to fans speculating who Cena’s opponent will be for his last match. But will his last match be at WrestleMania 39?

Will John Cena Appear At WrestleMania 39?

Per Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are some questions about whether or not John Cena will actually be able to make it to WrestleMania. John Cena is reportedly expected to be filming a movie in Australia throughout February and March of 2023. The film is a comedy starring Zac Efron called “Ricky Stanicky.” WrestleMania 39 is set to take place on April 1st and 2nd of 2023. With Cena reportedly filming a movie in another country in the months leading up to the show. It is unknown if he will be able to show up for WrestleMania 39. It’s one thing to show up and make an appearance, but it’s another to show up and have to wrestle.

There is no denying the fact that John Cena keeps himself in tremendous shape. But being in shape and being in-ring shape are two completely different things. So if Cena is booked up in the months leading up to WrestleMania, it is hard to believe he will have time to train and get back into the ring. Cena’s situation is similar to the Rock’s WrestleMania appearance being in jeopardy because of their busy schedule. Also, if Cena doesn’t wrestle at WrestleMania, that doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t wrestle again. If I’m sure of anything, it’s that fans will see John Cena step into the ring one more time.
