Raheem Morris: Kyle Pitts Has ‘Personal Vendetta’ To Prove Doubters Wrong

Raheem Morris is clearly still a believer in Kyle Pitts. So am I if you read my 2024 fantasy football primer. I just don’t know why you wouldn’t be. We already had this talk years ago. It’s you that is the problem for not understanding how this works. 1% of the tight ends that get drafted don’t do anything for the first two-three years of their career. The good news for us believers out there is that Morris thinks Pitts has the Eye of the Tiger to prove the doubters wrong.

There were some interesting comments to come out of OTAs with the Falcons and I’m going to share them below.

“I see a young guy that’s eager to learn, wants more, and his ‘why’ is really him — his personal vendetta to get back,” Morris said. “And I love that about him, because you gotta have a little edge, and he’s starting to show that a little bit more every day. And the better we can get him, to get him ready to go in training camp, I think the team will be better, I think our city will be better. I think everything will be better.”

I think the encouraging part that really matters here is that it sounds like Zac Robinson understands what Pitts is and how he should be utilized. We obviously know that Arthur Smith had absolutely no clue on what to do with Pitts and his past comments reflect that. The fact that Robinson is going to intentionally use Pitts as a tight end AND wide receiver is the best news any fantasy manager can hear.

“He’s learning basically two different positions, because there’s some tight end [work] and there’s some receiver, and so he’s got a lot on his plate and he’s handled it really well,” Robinson said. “And so, [I’m] just excited to see him continue to get more comfortable in the system. And the sky’s the limit for what kind of season he can have.”

The signs are telling you what to do. Vendetta Sports Media is about to take over the world. Kyle Pitts the same in terms of fantasy.
