Rachel Nichols, DeMarcus Cousins Launch Bully Ball NBA Podcast For Showtime Basketball

Showtime Basketball continues to try to carve out a role in the NBA landscape. All the Smoke is a really popular show under their platform and now they’re trying to add to it. Get ready for the Bully Ball podcast that will be hosted by Rachel Nichols and DeMarcus Cousins.

Apparently, networks can’t get enough of Rachel Nichols in their life. I don’t really understand it but it’s hard to ignore the way networks are operating right now. NBC Sports Washington rebranded their entire network and made Nichols a featured face. Fox Sports then added her to the Undisputed desk to debate Skip Bayless. Now she’s getting ANOTHER gig.

Keep in mind, this all comes on the heels of the Maria Taylor thing. I guess enough time has passed to the point where people don’t care anymore. I just find it crazy that these networks continue to foam at the mouth all over Rachel Nichols. Totally insane.

Also, don’t forget about this. Sports Business Journal recently reported that Paramount Global would shut down Showtime Sports. This kinda conflicts with that given the fact that they’re clearly spending money on this show. Is this a last-ditch effort to save the network before calling it quits? If you’re putting your faith in these two to save your network, you’re better off jumping ship now.
