Week 7 of the NFL season is already upon us. Last week, our player props had great success as we went 4-1. Eno Benjamin was the only player who failed to hit his projection as he finished 16 rushing yards shy. Benjamin was held in check against the Seattle defense, only averaging 2.5 yards per carry. Even with Benjamin selling our 5-0 week, Alec Pierce, Kenneth Walker III, Jakobi Meyers and Jimmy Garoppolo all made up for it. With us having a profitable week last week, let’s move forward to do it once again. Let’s look at some of the best player props plays on the board for Week 7.
Nick Chubb has been the entire Cleveland Browns offense so far this season. Chubb has seen a major workhorse early on averaging 18 carries per game with Jacoby Brissett leading the offense. With those touches, Chubb has been efficient in what he does with the ball in his hands, totaling 108 yards per game. The Ravens have given up 4.5 yards per rush so far this season, which should give Chubb a chance to have a big game if he gets his regular number of touches. Chubb has been one of the best running backs within the league this season, and I don’t expect him to slow down this week. This number is too low, which gives us excellent value with Chubb’s player prop for Week 7.
Like Chubb, Josh Jacobs has been one of the NFL’s better running backs so far this season. During the past two games, it seems like Josh McDaniels finally realized how to use Jacobs within the offense. In those two games, McDaniels has given Jacobs 24.5 carries per game, and he is averaging 149 rushing yards with those opportunities for Las Vegas. Jacobs is facing Houston this upcoming week which is an excellent matchup here with this player prop total. During their past three games, the Texans have allowed 5.4 yards per attempt and 113 rushing yards per game. With the Raiders coming off their bye, Jacobs should feel fresh which makes this number way too valuable for us to pass up.
The Cowboys should see a boost of offense in the upcoming weeks with quarterback, Dak Prescott returning from injury to replace Cooper Rush. Rush has been a serviceable quarterback for Dallas, but Prescott will push the offense to their full potential. That should be the case this week and CeeDee Lamb should be one of the biggest benefactors of Prescott’s return. In his last five games, Lamb has hit this mark four times, averaging 79 yards per game. This season, Detroit has been involved in multiple high-scoring games so far this year. The Lions have allowed 261 passing yards per game this season. Knowing this, Lamb should have a big game in Prescott’s return to the offense.
Ryan Tannehill has only thrown over 200 yards twice this season. Against Indianapolis earlier this year, Tannehill completed 17 passes, but only for 137 yards. Tennessee has been relying on the run this year, even more than in years past. Without a great receiving corps in place, Tannehill has struggled to push the ball downfield through the air. With the Colts allowing 202 passing yards per game — 167 in their last three games — Tannehill should struggle once again against his AFC South rivals. Most of the time, betting the over is the play, however, this number is too high.
The rookie receiver out of Georgia is finally starting to become a huge part of the not-so-good Steelers offense. One of the main reasons for George Pickens increase in production has been fellow rookie, quarterback Kenny Pickett. After Pickett made his debut against the Jets, Pickens’ numbers skyrocketed. Against the Jets and Bills, Pickens has averaged 92 receiving yards with six receptions and eight targets per game. With Pickett back under center, Pickens should be targeted frequently against Miami.
Hopefully, these five plays can hit for us once again as we try to profit once again after a great Week 6. You can either tail these at your own risk or pick and choose which ones you want. However, these are some of the favorite player props plays for Week 7. Check back in next week to see how we did and to see our Week 8 plays.
