If you didn’t go get Rhamondre Stevenson in fantasy, it’s probably too late for you. After a career-high  161 rushing yards in a shutout win over the Lions, it’s becoming more and more obvious that Stevenson is turning into a star. If you were smart enough to listen to me, welcome to the party. It’s just getting started.

The Patriots only carried two back on the active roster against Detroit. Damien Harris went down in the middle of the game and Stevenson put the whole team on his back. Just watch these two videos. This is just a match made in heaven. Belichick has found his running back he can trust and Stevenson just wants to run through a brick wall.

The zero running back strategy is the only strategy in fantasy football from now on. Stevenson is no longer a gamble. That’s a damn good football player. I just hope you listened to me. Stevenson is happily on my roster for $1. Now that’s drafting, ladies and gents.

If you go look at all the snap participation stuff, Stevenson has slowly been taking over this backfield. Now that Harris is hurt, Stevenson is going to become the guy. He’s just a rock for this Patriots team. Big body that can run and absorb contact. Pass protects his tail off. Oh, and has really turned himself into a respectable pass catcher. This is a true three down back.

This is going to wind up being a top 10 fantasy running back just as Damien Harris was a year ago. The only difference is, we have barely scratched the surface.
