NFL Teams Are Idiots If They Pass On Jim Harbaugh

It just feels like the Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan is coming to an end. The program has Last Dance vibes to it with the ongoing scandal going on at the program. If the NCAA drops the hammer on Michigan, there is no reason to stick around. Plus, this current Michigan team is Harbaugh’s best team. If they don’t win it this year, they’re never winning it.

Harbaugh has stated in the past that he doesn’t miss the NFL. That said he was a prime candidate for the Vikings job a year ago. Heading into this offseason with a loaded quarterback class incoming, it just feels like Harbaugh is leaving Michigan. Especially if the punishments are drastic.

NFL.com dropped a piece about how Harbaugh won’t be safe from punishment if he dips to the NFL.

Let’s just make one thing absolutely clear.

NFL teams shouldn’t care and if this prevents them from hiring Harbaugh, they’re complete and utter idiots.

Jim Harbaugh Wants A Statue Of Tom Brady At Michigan

He’s easily the best candidate available if and when he leaves Michigan. We’re talking about a guy that carries a .695 win percentage in the NFL and took Colin Kaepernick (who always sucked) to the Super Bowl. Harbaugh cares about all the right things and creates a balanced attacking team that are dominant at both lines of scrimmage. You’re not going to find better.

Don’t let this stupid scandal get in the way of hiring the best guy. The truth of the matter is, a lot of teams are probably doing this in college football. Just like how every team was doing it in baseball. They just decided to punish the winners (Astros). The NCAA clearly has an ax to grind with Harbaugh and that’s why he’s under the microscope. If NFL teams let that cloud their judgment, it will be a mistake they have to live with. Not the other way around.
