The war on streaming rights is real. Everyone is trying to outspend everyone else until someone financially collapses. Netflix is now deploying a new tactic to get ahead of the competition. Get ready for this. Netflix is now selling mobile games. Yes, you’re reading that correctly.
I guess this has been a thing for awhile now but I never really noticed it until this trailer came out today. Does anybody else remember this cut the rope game? Apparently, Netflix has other games in their library but I’ve never noticed.
Does anybody download mobile Netflix games? Did you even know this was a thing? Well, maybe cut the rope game will change that. Then again, I don’t think I’ve ever had a single thought about cut the rope in ten years.
Does Netflix actually profit from these games? That’s the part I don’t really understand. Who is downloading this stuff? Who has time to play these games other than the designated time that you’re sitting on the toilet? Let’s be honest; I’m way too busy to investigate this nonsense at any other time of the day. I’m not the only one, right?
Is this really worth Netflix’s time? I really want to know how much they’re paying for access to these games. I guess cut the rope is cool but it’s also the sort of thing that you play for 20 minutes and never pick up again for another five years.
Comment down below. Do you have any Netflix mobile games? Are you psychotic enough to pay for a subscription just to play the mobile games?
