Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics 7:30 pm ET

Miami won the first matchup between these two teams and as the better team, they should be expected to win again tonight. The primary scorers available for the Celtics, Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker, are overmatched by the Heat’s pairing of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, and Miami has a depth advantage over Boston as well. The Heat are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have been playing as they played in the 2020 bubble.

PICK: Miami Moneyline

Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies 8 pm ET

Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jonas Valunciunas are out for the Grizzlies, who are playing their third game in four nights. Memphis has essentially locked up its spot in the Play-In Tournament, so they have little incentive to beat a Dallas team that has been playing incredible basketball as of late. Maxi Kleber and Kristaps Porzingis have both missed time, but Tim Hardaway Jr has stepped up and become the same dangerous scorer that he was on the Knicks. When missing their two starting bigs, Memphis is simply outmatched by the Mavs. Dallas star Luka Doncic is also too big for Ja Morant to guard effectively and Doncic should be able to draw double teams and create problems for the Grizzlies’ defense.

PICK: Dallas -2

New York Knicks vs Los Angeles Lakers 10 pm ET

A win for the Knicks would secure them a playoff berth for the first time in eight years and All-Star Julius Randle will be playing in the building of the team that drafted him. If that weren’t enough to inspire the Knicks to an upset win, New York is 10-3 in their last 13 games as the underdog and the Lakers are 0-5 against the spread following a win (Lakers beat the Suns 123-110 on Monday night). New York, by contrast, is 38-16-1 against the spread in their last 55 games. Both teams would love to win tonight, but the Lakers need the win tonight. The Knicks has been phenomenal adjusting to each team they play and limiting the opportunities of the opponent’s best player, so it will be up to Anthony Davis to try to break through New York’s defense.

PICK: Knicks Moneyline OR take the points Knicks +5.5.
