My Advice To The Miami Dolphins

My Advice To The Miami Dolphins

Dear, Dolphins.

Are you ready to have an honest conversation about things? Don’t listen to the haters that tell you that the Phins can’t beat good teams. It’s a false narrative. Any team can beat anybody on any given Sunday. You have the requisite pieces to beat any team in the league on any given week.

Your team is really good and probably should be considered a sleeping giant. The defense is getting really good. If you’re watching that defense, the eyeball test knows those guys are starting to figure out Vic’s scheme. Getting Jalen Ramsey back sure helps too.

You also have two MFers at receiver and Tua is really good despite whatever the uneducated person wants to tell you.

The people in the media are wrong. Your team is a Super Bowl contender. However, are you willing to recognize that the people criticizing you are misguided and that you have your own set of issues to solve? Are you willing to look in the mirror and address what needs to be done? That’s the real question.

We know what the problem is with this team. Well, unless you’re one of those dopes over at the 33rd team made up of a bunch of hacks that got fired and they have no idea why. This offensive line stinks. Frankly, both lines aren’t good enough. If this team doesn’t get it done, it has nothing to do anything other than the fact that they can’t protect well enough.

This game isn’t complicated. As an NFL executive, you need to ask yourself these three questions.

Do you have a quarterback? Yes, Tua is really good.

Can you protect the quarterback? No, our line stinks.

Can you attack the quarterback? Not really other than throwing up prayer circles for Andrew Van Ginkel to keep producing out of nowhere.

Dear, Chris Grier. You should know what needs to be done. You should leave next year’s draft with three offensive linemen and another three defensive linemen. You’re not drafting anything else. With how smart your coach is, you can win it if you build a dominant offensive line. If you don’t accomplish this goal, you only have yourself to blame. Everything else is in place.

Prove you’re not as dumb as your brother. Stop throwing third round picks in the garbage so you can take bum tight ends like Hunter Long. Offensive and defensive linemen. That’s it. That’s all that needs to be said.
