Mike Francesa Has A Perfect Reaction To Landon Collins Signing With The Redskins

There’s one free agent signing that really boggled my mind today. Giving $84 million to Landon Collins seemed like a crazy idea. How much are box safeties that can’t cover really worth? Apparently, a whole hell of a lot according to those idiots Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen.

Normally, I don’t really care what Francesa has to say. I just find him really funny. In this instance, his take is spot on and his reaction is perfect. How do you not laugh at this?

That face says it all. This was just a lunatic move by an asinine organization. Some teams just don’t get it. Washington is one of them. Right now they have a quarterback room of Case Keenum and Colt McCoy. They are also paying Alex Smith a fortune because 90 percent of his contract is guaranteed. It’s an idiotic franchise. They really never win either.

It’s been quite a week for Francesa. He also had an epic rant about the Giants quarterback situation. It’s a must watch.

I guess we can’t be too shocked. The Redskins name in itself is racist. Their personnel guy has no idea how to build a roster. Their owner is a total moron. They can’t get anything right. This is the same franchise that gave up the farm for RG3 and are still paying the price for it.

I really hope Washington uses Collins the way they used D.J. Swearinger for their own sake. He is essentially an off the ball linebacker. Tell him to make plays in sub packages and come downhill as a linebacker. Other than that, he can’t do much else. Collins ranked 45th among safeties in coverage grade according to Pro Football Focus among safeties.
