Michelle Beadle Said LeBron James Tried To Get Her Fired At ESPN

LeBron James has tried to get a lot of people fired. I’m not sure I envisioned Michelle Beadle being among those on his hit list. I’m not it’s as relevant as trying to get Erik Spoelstra fired but as the kids say, big if true. Beadle has basically been a ghost since she was actually fired at ESPN. However, now she has her own she at The Athletic and told the story of LeBron.

“He tried,” she said of the rumor about James attempting to get her fired. “He did try. Yep. He did try to do that. I was like, ‘Wow, I’m honored that I’m even on your mind. Thank you very much, sir. That’s a weird place for me to be.’ So, my stuff with him started out not personal. I made fun of ‘The Decision’ like 400,000 other talking heads did at the time, and I think for some reason, that was it. So, it wasn’t personal to begin with it. It’s obviously, now it will always be personal.”

By no means will I ever defend LeBron on something but Beadle got herself fired. Mostly because she has nothing interesting to say. This is always the measuring test for me. Name the time sports analyst had a take that really made you think. Hell or even something you can remotely remember person x standing for. Beadle got fired for that reason. There’s nothing interesting going on here. There’s not a single time you can remember something notable she said.

I’m not sure if the story is believable but it does sound like a very LeBron thing to do. Plus, let’s be honest, a shit ton of people made fun of LeBron for the decision. He deserves every bit of smoke for that.
