VSiN is shaking up its programming again. The VSiN Morning Live Show has been canceled after an incredibly brief stint and the Lombardi Line is officially returning. If we’re being honest about the whole thing; Michael Lombardi clearly took my advice and or had enough self awareness to fire Grace Remington & Harrison Sanford.
I’m just glad to see Lombo has enough self-awareness to see what was going on…
We know what happened here. Lombo couldn’t take it anymore. If you hosted a three hour show every single day with Harrison Sanford, you would slowly lose your mind too. It was clear and obvious that Sanford totally tanked that show and had to be removed. Sanford was trash but it’s not like Grace was killing it either. She was basically the Ish Smith of podcast hosts. Just had no chemistry with Lombo.
I dare you to go to the VSiN YouTube channel and try to listen to that VSiN Morning Live show. With Sanford and Remington, it was totally unwatchable, which says a lot considering that Lombo has been fantastic on the Pat McAfee Show and the Coach Show with Bill Belichick.
By the way, Lombo cut Remington from the GM Shuffle podcast too. Patrick Meagher is the new host and that show flows significantly better now. I still have no idea why they didn’t just give Stormy a raise to handle all of Lombo’s content but that’s a story for another day.
Some of the comments are just so spot on so to close things out I’m going to share the most accurate ones.
