VSiN Needs To Fire Harrison Sanford

Let me set the stage before I drop some necessary truth bombs. We’re going to talk about VSiN new talking head Harrison Sanford but this article is really directed to Michael Lombardi and anyone associated with him.

I have great respect for Lombo. At the core, we’re really not that different minus the age. Both Italian (I’m a half breed it comes from the mom’s side) and have no interest in playing the politics game. We both speak the truth even if it’s to a fault. Oh, and I’ve been on your side this entire time with the Falcons thing. That franchise is a joke and you will find we agree on 85% of sports takes.

Let’s not forget this happened this Summer too.

The truth of the matter is, I’m only writing this post because Lombo is one of the few in this industry that’s actually worth my time. He’s actually a really solid football mind and deserves a platform to express his knowledge. My only question is when Bill Belichick hires you to be the GM at his next landing spot, will you be smart enough to bring me on as a consultant?

It’s something you might want to consider based on the fact that I have factual evidence that I’m better at scouting wide receivers than Belichick. It’s not really debatable. If I was in the room when the card got turned in for N’Keal Harry, it would have turned into a fist fight. All of that’s documented. I have no plans to leave Vendetta Sports but I’d actually take the call for you and Belichick. That is if you’re smart enough to recognize I’d make an enormous difference in the talent acquisition part of building a team through the draft.

Getting back to the point now; Belichick says this line all the time. “You’re either coaching it or allowing it to happen”. Harrison Sanford is a total disaster and VSiN keeps trotting him out there. It’s no different than Auburn continuing to play Payton Thorne despite the fact that over and over again he’s proved that he’s unplayable. You and I both know Sanford has no business being a host on your show.

VSiN underwent some changes after they acquired the company back from DraftKings. They’re trying to make changes because clearly DraftKings wasn’t profiting off of VSiN so they were happy to give it back. For as dead brain as the DraftKings content director is, somehow whoever the idiot is in charge of programming at VSiN is dumber.

Instead of the Lombardi Line hosted by Stormy Buonantony and the GM Shuffle hosted by Femi Abebefe, VSiN switched things around. Now Lombardi hosts a three-hour show called VSiN Morning Live. Instead of one host, it’s now two hosts battling for air time with Grace Remington and Sanford as they take turns throwing bad lobs to Lombo. The new show is a total downgrade and a lot of it has to do with Sanford being impossible to listen to.

You and I both know the dangers of following the crowd but sometimes the angry mob has a point. Just like the Browns fans who have a right to be upset with what’s going on right now with Deshaun Watson. I’m not saying everything I produce pops off viewer wise. I play the college football video game and sometimes only five people tune in. However, the numbers don’t lie here. Lombo is being outviewed on the YouTube channel by a guy who was on hiatus for months to take care of personal stuff.

Lombo, you and I both know the truth. You can’t keep trotting Sanford out there. I don’t even have to be the bad guy. The YouTube comments say everything.

This video ^ right here is a perfect example. Is anything more accurate than the comment made by this guy?

You can’t watch that Falcons video and not have that same thought. At some point, you have to have a talk with management. I promise you that I don’t care what talent agency you found this guy from, I promise you I can find a random intern from one of the partnerships we have to send over and I guarantee he or she will do a much better job than this. Furthermore, how did you agree to work with people who clearly didn’t do any research on your content?

You, Lombo, say all the time to evaluate the evaluator. If you gave your own wife truth serum, she would tell you that Harrison guy stinks too. Let’s be real about it.

This is not just a few haters in the YouTube comments. It’s every video. Sanford tried to host one episode of the GM Shuffle and it was a total disaster. Just peep the comments in this video I paste below. Better yet, I dare you to watch the entire video. You can’t because Sanford gives you a migraine from listening to his nonsense.

The mob of commenters says it all. You can’t hide it. Sanford is the type of guy who says a lot of words but doesn’t actually bring anything to the table. It’s a total word vomit of nonsense and impossible to listen to. Whatever you’re paying Sanford, it’s way too much. Teachers around the country work way too hard for a clown like that to make the type of money to just sound like an uneducated noob.

Shout out to Femi because his stock goes way up. He looks ten times better the more they continue to trot this dead corpse Sanford out there. Which brings up another question about if they only hired Sanford to fill the diversity void left by Femi’s departure but we don’t need to go down that rabbit hole. Although, I’m not sure how you don’t have the takeaway considering the new hires very much resemble Stormy and Femi. They’re just significantly worse versions of them.

People consume Lombardi content for Lombardi. This idea that he needs two hosts making awkward your turn, my turn setups is insane and wrong.

Side note: I don’t know what you people at VSiN are thinking but this should have been a really easy call. Give Stormy the money to host both shows and call it a day. How did you screw that up?

Just so this is made clear too, two or three years from now when I have the resources to pluck Stormy away from VSiN, I promise you that will happen. I don’t know how that network fumbled that bag but the answer was already in place. She’s super talented and will be given an offer from Vendetta Sports at a future date. When that happens, don’t be surprised.
