Mac McWilliams 2025 NFL Draft Profile

UCF corner Mac McWilliams is next in line for the 2025 NFL Draft profile series. I’ll come right and say it off jump street. We’re not going to take all day here, but I’m a fan of this player, and we’re going to talk about why.

NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (3), Game

McWilliams, 23, was a two star cornerback coming out of high school. The Pensacola, Florida, native was ranked as the 283rd overall corner and 368th player in the state. After spending four years with UAB, he moved closer to home for his final season, finishing out with UCF.

The interception production isn’t anything outrageous. Just one last year and two for his entire career. Only two PBUs last year but 18 the previous two years combined with UAB. A 69.3 opposing passer rating allowed in a pass happy Big 12 is a pretty good mark.

Here’s what I’ll say on McWilliams. I loved his pre-draft process. I thought he was really good at the Senior Bowl. His Combine checked all the boxes for me. Measuring in at 5-foot-10, 191, he’s not overly big but sure looks like someone who can thrive in zone and make plays with his footwork. Also, I saw someone who was physical at the point of attack in terms of on the ball and overall tackling ability. I think he can handle a nickel role well for someone.

Just never gets stuck in the mud. You can tell his knee bend is going to work. Really nice speed at 4.41. Has a lot of playing experience being a starter since 2021. How much more can you ask for out of a late round CB prospect?

All of the mock draft simulators I’ve done, I usually find a way to snag this guy in the 6th or 7th round. It would appear he’s going to be there deep into the draft. We’ll see what happens from there.
